1.   Many asked me what is my stand after they have won.

2.   My stand didn't change. Maybe it'll be more tougher.

3.   No way I can support wrongdoings like forming a sovereignty wealth fund with borrowed money, mismanaged the fund and causing it to loss billions, 1MDB bought government land valued at RM3000 with only RM60psf, Jho Low's involvement in 1MDB's management, money amounting millions of American dollar transferred to Jho Low owned company, Najib's own admission that there is 2.6 billion in his personal bank account, Najib's failure to explain the source of this money, billions of 1MDB money went missing, transferring 1MDB liability to Government.

4.   Maybe, I, too didn't support Najib's wrongdoings by arresting, detaining, charge with wrong act, that is, anti terrorism act that being changed to so-called  sabotaging economy, sacking A.G and replaced with the A.G who willing to lie and hide behind OSA.

5.   I cannot accept a Prime Minister who tarnished our race and  nation dignity after international newspapers and TV aired with solid proof evidence about 1MDB's money being misused by Najib, government institutions in Switzerland, Singapore claimed about Najib's leadership in 1MDB's money, millions of payments to dubious company that caused 1MDB being sued by agency owned by Abu Dhabi Government wants to be paid more than RM20 billion.

6   I cannot accept Najib's who holds 'Cash is King' principle. Cash is King - that is, corruption is his political principle.

7.   The extraordinary victories in Sg Besar and Kuala Kangsar by-elections obtained through giving away money and things to voters. It was seen by everybody. No feelings of shame when doing this kind of lies just to win.

8.   Race and nation dignity are destroyed until Malaysian who used to have dignity followed example set by the leader.

9.   Those who are questioning about my stand need to ask that to themselves, is it you yourself no longer have dignity that you are willing be proud of victories won through lies, open corruption and solid wrongdoings.

10.  To me, the effort to cleanse Malaysian Government will be continued by me in whatever way.

1.   There are UMNO members who are uneasy and angry because I shared the same stage with Kit Siang, UMNO nemesis.

2.   I won't be with Kit Siang if UMNO is still same as the UMNO founded in 1946.

3.   I didn't any reprimand and challenge when I was the UMNO President and Prime Minister. Musa Hitam, Tengku Razaleigh was nominated to contest the President and Deputy President post. Many ministers in my Cabinet, namely, Rais Yatim, Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Syed Hamid, Kadir Syeikh Fadzil campaigned supporting Razaleigh and Musa Hitam. I didn't stop them, revoke their membership.

4.   I and Ghaffar was won with simple victory. UMNO then dragged to court and was ruled illegal by the judge.

5.   I have to revive UMNO. Eventhough Razaleigh founded Semangat 46 but majority UMNO members join the New UMNO. Those who joined are Abdullah Badawi, Kadir Sheikh Fadzir, Syed Hamid and then Rais Yatim. They were reappointed as Minister. No one was sacked from UMNO except those who chose to join Semangat 46.

6.   When Semangat 46 dissolved, the members accepted back to UMNO.

7.   UMNO became stronger again eventhough those who didn't support me still in UMNO.

8.   This is UMNO way. Leaders and members are free to reprimand and challenge leaders. I was attacked by Anwar's supporters when he was Deputy President and Deputy Prime Minister.

9.   Supreme Council sacked him while giving him right to self defense. It was done by the Supreme Council.

10.  In Musa Hitam case who resigned as Deputy President and Deputy Prime Minister, the Supreme Council decided to send a team headed by Wan Mokhtar to talk to Musa to persuader him to retract his resignation. I didn't stop them.

11.  He agreed to accept back Deputy President post but not the Deputy Prime Minister post. I have to appoint Ghaffar Baba as Deputy Prime Minister while he stayed on as Deputy President.

12.  Then, Musa cajoled his enemy, Tengku Razaleigh to challenge me for the President post. Musa himself contested for Deputy President post under Tengku Razaleigh, the President post candidate.

13.  Eventhough Musa did all this, I appointed him as Special Minister to United Nations. I gave him a Minster level.

14.  All I did was according to democracy. But, today, Najib as Prime Minister, not only unable to be challenge but can't even reprimand. If anyone reprimand him, his party membership will be revoked followed by restriction not to meet UMNO members and its leaders. There are wish to suspend. No chance for self defense.

15.  Representatives to UMNO General Assembly not open to free speech. They were told not touch on 1MDB and RM2.6 billion in Najib's personal account.

16.  In this situation, can UMNO members openly support me if I reprimand Najib? Do UMNO members dared to sign the Citizen Declaration to remove Najib?

17.  A few of Branch Leaders who criticized Najib was warned, gave trouble in business, his wife's scholarship was withdrawn and many kinds of pressure.

18.  What is clear is all Ministers, UMNO Branceh Leaders, UMNO representatives all agrees with all Najib's wrongdoing. It's alright when billions of ringgit went missing, our country is one of the most corrupt nation, Malaysians are humiliated and insulted in oversea and Najib himself afraid to faced foreign media but UMNO members will support Najib.

19.  World media openly reported and detail of how Najib misused his power, detained UMNO members who made police report against him, charged him under terrorist act, detain his lawyer but UMNO leaders and members is shameless and still supports Najib.

20.  And now, laws are made to give power to Najib to side step Agong, Cabinet, Dewan Rakyat, Dewan Negara to declare curfew to any area, detained anyone without being charged in court while Najib is the Chairman National Security Council.

21.  Every party in and outside country condemn this law. Agong and Sultans didn't sign this law. His Majesty and Sultans instructed to re-examine provisions of this law.

22.  Najib didn't care about Sultans objection and advice. He went ahead with the law.

23.  Dewan Rakyat is the one can amend or reject this law. MPs from UMNO and BN won't reject power grabbing by Najib.

24.  Is there any chance my reprimand will greatly support by UMNO members? I'm free to join any movements. As a Malaysian citizen I joined poeple's movement to remove Najib. If Lim Kit Siang is in the movement, he too a citizen. We only agree in exercise and intentions to remove Najib.

25.  Due to UMNO leadership don't understand my language, once again I explain that I taking action as a citizen to inform Najib that people no longer accepts him.

26.  If Lim Kit Siang or anyone else is with me, it's because they, too, like me, as a citizen wish to stress through this by election that people no longer accepts him as Prime Minister. So to happens they are members of political party or NGO.

27.  But those who doesn't want to understand still won't understand.

A Short Story....

Fool or Lost?

A :   Hello, boy. Where does this go?
B :   It doesn't go anywhere. It always stays here.
A :   How far is it to the next town?
B :   I don't know. I never measured it.
A :   (Angrily) What do you know? You seem very strange. You a big fool.
B :   Maybe I am fool but at least I'm not lost

**Just for fun

Bodoh atau Sesat?

A :   Hello, budak. Ke mana jalan ini menuju ?
B :   Ia tidak menuju ke mana-mana. Ia sentiasa berada di sini.
A :   Berapa jauh hendak ke pekan sebelah?
B :   Saya tidak tahu. Saya tidak pernah ukur.
A ;   (Marah) Apa yang kamu tahu? You kelihatan sungguh pelik. Bodoh betul.
B :   Mungkin saya bodoh sekurang-kurangnya saya tidak sesat.

There is wisdom in these seemingly silly tales

Picture this.

A man mistakenly gives his newborn baby a bath in boiling hot water. The child's face, grimaced and distorted, reflects her agony. In the throes of death, she fails her hands about and dies in her father's arms.

This is one of the most gruesome scenes in the popular Malay folk literature series of Pak Pandir.Pak Pandir, in absurd conclusion, looks at the baby's face and thinks she is laughing with glee. Mak Andeh comes home, to find her only daughter scalded to death.

How this could be considered comedy is probably beyond the comprehension of the modern audiences of today. And yet, perhaps, this is the genius of the ancient comedies in delivering the simplest of messages. That sheer stupidity can cause great grief and untold personal loss.

The unthinkable makes you think. Why such tales?

Perhaps comedies are prevalent in all old fables as a means to share wisdom for the lessons in comedies and satires are long remembered.

In general, suche satires, according to lover of literature and theatre Tan Sri Johan Jaaffar, is "to teach (mengajar) the values appropriate for members of society - that stupidity is not to be frowned upon, cleverness has its perils and power can be tamed by wisdom. These characters are part of the society's leaning curve and socialization regime."

Throughout Asia, these stories are prevalent. The Chinese idioms are full of stories of seemingly foolish young boys who triumph against the minister or cleverer folk. Only by taking a second look at such satire, perhaps a step back and a very deep breath too, do we see the inner workings of the humour and wisdom.

Sometimes, we fail to remember that culturally, it is bad form for Asians to insult or scold, what more reprimand the elders. In fact, it can be fatal to point out mistakes of the nobles and royalties. The former Media Prima chairman Johan says: "These frivolously-delightful characters in cerita jenaka Melayu are no ordinary creations. They can sound and act moronic but they are Characters With a Cause. In Malay society of old where kings and elders were respected and feared and social norms fanatically observed, the only way to get teguran and sindiran (a mild form of criticism and mockery) across was through wit and humour. Pak Pandir, Pak Kadok, Pak Belalang, Si Luncai dan Lebai Malang were created for that purpose."

Therefore, we make fun and jest to deliver a hidden message.
Let's examine the different comedic characters and try to decipher the messages they intended to impart.

The ability to laugh at oneself

In this series of mishaps and gaffes, Pak Pandir continually finds himself flitting from one baffling situation after another due to his inability to listen to his wife's instructions. Mak Andeh ia an industrious woman and tolerates Pak Pandir's mistakes as one would a child. And yet, in his own way, Pak Pandir rebels against her scolding.

Far from being the slapstick comedy that most people mistake the Pak Pandir stories to be, this kind of saitre offers insights to the fallacies of stupidity. In addition, it also highlights the intricate and often perplexing dynamics of matiral relationship.

Si Luncai
The man who fooled the King

Si Luncai trjun dengan labunya. Biarkan, biarkan (Si Luncai jumped with his water jug. Let him be, let him be)

Si Luncai was quite an audacious fellow. He had the glib of the tongue that often got him into trouble. The story begins with Si Luncai attending the Sultans's festival. When he saw the Sultan he began to cry. The Sultan asked Si Luncai the cause of his anguish. This resulted in him offending the Sultan when he admitted that the shape of the Sultan's head reminded him of his own late father. The Sultan was enraged and ordered his guards to drown Si Luncai in the river.

The phrase and catchy tune above was how Si Luncai tricked the king's men. He taught them the song and they were mesmerised. So absorbed were they with singing this simple tune that shen Si Luncai actually jumped off the boat with his water jug or labu, the guards continued to sing. The deception allowed Si Luncai to escape death and later take his revenge on the king. He returned to marry the king's smart daughter but died from his own stupidity as the princess was cunning and saw through him.

The story offers society the opportunity to recognise that rulers are human too. They are not infallible and just like anyone else, they can be fooled by tricksters. They also have their own desires and beliefs, in addition to weaknessess.

It must be mentioned that some incredible innovations actually appear in this story. A great glass ball elevator that goes to the center of the earth and a flying suit are just some of them, indicating the highly creative imagination of storytellers of old.

Mat Jenin's Daydream

Is it really a bad thing to be a dreamer?

Steve Jobs had a dream to create a whole new way of communicating and experincing the digital world. Nicol David dreamed of being a world squash champion. I dreamt of being a writer since young.

So what's the message contained in Angan Mat Jenin (Mat Jenis's Daydream)

Mat Jenin is a story that has been retold in many languages. In his case, he climbed a coconut tree and began dreaming of all the things he could buy once he managed to sell his coconuts. His dream got wilder and wilder as he whiled his time away. He imagined himself to be so rich that he could marry the king's daughter.

In the end, a coconut dropped on his head and he woke up from his reverie. Mat Jenin learnt the hard way that dreaming without doing anything about it was a sure way to fail.

Rooster wins, dignity lost

This tale of how Pak Kadok cheered with joy when he thought that his rooster had won the cockfight against the king legendary and continues to be remembered to this day. The day started off with Pak Kadok's impatience to set off to the cockfight, so confident was he that his prized rooster would win. He asked his wife to sew him a beautiful new suit. As it was taking so long to complete, he eventually asked her to just glue the materials together.

When he arrived, everyone remarked about his bright new clothes. The King saw Pak Kadok and took note of his rooster. He knew Pak Kadok's rooster brought good fortune and he persuaded the man exchange fighter rooster. Pak Kadok on his part was feeling more and more important. When he thought he had won, he jumped and cheered happily bot realising that, in doing so, his attire was coming apart. Pak Kadok lost everything, including his dignity.

The importance of vision

Chinese idioms. or Chengyu strories, widely used in Classsical Chinese are short phrases, which consist four characters, and are usually based on a legend or a story. These were taught in our SJK schools as old idioms and old legends which teach children good values. There are many stories like the story of Yu Gong who tried to move mountains or the boy who found a stack of silver ties.

Old man Yu Gong, who was over 80 years old, had three sons, two daughters and many grandsons. Between his house and the nearest village stood two great mountains next to each other. Every morning, he'd walk to the nearby village but always had to go around the two mountains. This was hard work. Finally, he said to himself, "This mountains simply have to go!".

Old Man Yu called for a family meeting. There was much rejoicing and feasting as they updated each other about their lives. It had been years sicne the las Yu Clan meeting. Soon, there was a lull in the conversation and Old Man Yu stood up and announced , " I have to move these two mountains - and you will all help me!"

The entire family, from the ages of 8 to 88 pledged their support and began to commence with the work. After two years, everyone knew of their project. One clever man mocked Old Man Yu saying, "Old Man Yu is so foolish. He will be dead before his three sons and many grandsons get rid of the two mountains."

Those words reached the ears of Old Man Yu. He looked for the clever man. When he found him, Old Man Yu calmly said, "I can see in the way you dress and sit that you're a very clever man.  Yet, you lack vision. I am an old man but I have three healthy sons, and many loyal grandsons. In time, my grandsons will lead their own children, who, in turn, will lead even more children to the mountains. In time, my dream will come closer to reality. In time, these two mountains will slowly disappear."

Our comedies and satire have many lessons to impart. They teach us that pride comes before a fall, that it's wiser to practise humulity and the fact that one should never allow oneself to get carried away with anything.

These were lessons considered to be very important in the past. For why else would ancient tales continue to have them within? If these were lessons that mattered, then our ancient comedies and satires must have the most significant collection of stories to be told.

Mimpi Siang Mat Jenin

Salahkah bermimpi?

Ayam Menang, Maruah Tergadai

Dia meminta isterinya menjahitkan sepasang baju baharu. Apabila isterinya mengambil masa lama untuk menjahit pakaian baharunya, Pak Kadok meminta isterinya menampalkan sahaja pakaian baharunya.

Apabila Pak Kadok tiba di lokasi pertandingan, semua orang memuji pakaian baharunya. Sultan melihat Pak Kadok dengan ayam sabungnya. Baginda tahu kehebatan ayam sabung Pak Kadok membawa tuah lalu baginda memujuk Pak Kadok menukarkan ayam sabung miliknya dengan ayam sabung milik Sultan. Pak Kadok merasakan dirinya semakin dihormati. Apabila Pak Kadok menyangkakan dia telah menang pertarungan sabung ayam, dia melompat kegembiraan tanpa menyedari pakaiannya mula tertanggal. Pak Kadok telah kehilangan segala-gala termasuk maruahnya.

Kepentingan visi

Orang Tua Yu mengadakan perjumpaan keluarga. Keadaan menjadi riuh-rendah sambil bertanya khabar.

"Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee"

"Terbang seperti rama-rama, sengat seperti tebuan

28.  Rakyat memerlukan Pemerintah untuk menyelamatkan Malaysia.

29.  Saya pasti Pemerintah tidak akan mengecewakan mereka.
